Childcare Payment Policy

At FUNDA, we prioritize providing exceptional childcare services while maintaining clarity and fairness in our payment practices. To ensure a smooth and transparent process for all parents/guardians, please review and adhere to the following payment policies:
1. Booking Policy
- Non-Refundable Payments: All bookings are final. Once a booking is confirmed and payment is processed, FUNDA operates a strict no refund, no transfer, and no credit policy. This applies to all bookings, regardless of any changes in personal circumstances, including cancellations. This is due to staffing already being arranged for the venue and additional costs associated once you have made a booking.
2. Suspension or Banning of Children
- No Refunds for Suspensions or Bans: If a child is suspended or banned due to behavioural issues, safety concerns, or violations of FUNDA’s policies, no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued for any unused days or sessions.
- Causes for Suspension/Banning: This may include but is not limited to disruptive behaviour, aggression, or repeated violations of our rules. FUNDA reserves the right to make these decisions in the interest of the safety and well-being of all children and staff.
3. Outstanding Balances
- Registered Payment Methods: By registering a payment method with FUNDA, you agree that we may process payments for any outstanding or overdue balances using the payment method on file. This ensures that all financial obligations to FUNDA are met in a timely manner.
- Late Payment Fee: If you fail to settle your balance by the agreed deadline, an additional admin charge of £10.00 will be applied to your account as a late payment fee.
4. Late Collection Policy
- Late Collection Fees: It is essential that children are collected promptly at the end of their scheduled care. A late collection charge of £10.00 will be applied if a child is not collected on time. For every 15 minutes thereafter, an additional charge of £10.00 will be added until the child is collected.
- Example: If a child is collected 30 minutes late, a total of £30.00 will be charged (£10 initial fee + £10 for each 15-minute increment).
5. Absences
- No Refund for Missed Sessions: FUNDA does not provide refunds, credits, or transfers for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or other personal reasons. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child attends the booked sessions.
6. Cancellation and Changes to Bookings
- Non-Cancellable and Non-Transferable Bookings: All bookings are non-cancellable and non-transferable. Once booked, the dates, children, and sessions are locked in, with no option for adjustment, cancellation, or switching to other dates or children.
7. Payment Methods
- FUNDA accepts payments through our secure online booking system, which supports major credit/debit cards and electronic payment methods. Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your child's place.
8. Financial Assistance
- Families who require financial assistance are encouraged to explore external options such as childcare vouchers or government subsidies. FUNDA does not currently offer internal financial assistance or payment plans.
9. Special Circumstances
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances that result in a FUNDA-initiated closure (e.g. extreme weather, government mandates), FUNDA may consider issuing credits or rescheduling options at its discretion. Parents/guardians will be promptly notified of any such decisions.
10. Agreement
- By completing a booking with FUNDA, parents/guardians confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this payment policy. FUNDA reserves the right to amend this policy as necessary and will notify families of any changes.
This policy allows FUNDA to maintain the highest standards of care while ensuring operational efficiency. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to these guidelines.
